MKE FILM : DOUBLE-UP ANIMATED PROMOS

The Milwaukee Film Festival is an annual, city-wide event that celebrates the art of film, filmmakers, and Milwaukee’s diverse moviegoers and fans. The month-long festival showcases a multitude of genres both nationally and regionally in historic, refurbished theatres across the city.

The 2 promotional "Double-Up" campaigns showcased below were created to encourage donations and membership sign-ups to Milwaukee Film, the organization that hosts the event. Each donation contributed would be matched by a local Milwaukee Film benefactor. The first video’s concept is based on the idea that "Double isn't always a good thing" and pays homage to famous films and tropes to turn it into a positive message through clever dialogue and engaging visuals. The second video speaks directly to the filmgoer in a call-to-action manner to donate or sign up.
