I had the opportunity to design the brand identity for a local brewpub in Wauwatosa - a suburb of Milwaukee. The two owners, Mark and Paul, approached me to do this after having worked with Paul on the branding for his small business, Fun Beer Tours, Milwaukee. The two presented a clear and solid vision, making the process streamlined.
From the start the concept called for a triangular shape - whether that mimicked the shape of a house, or in earlier sketches a barn. I wanted the the type to be bold, tall, and mimic the shape of the developing logo.
Mark and Paul were featured in the Milwaukee Journal sentianl and OnMilwaukee.
