Cooley Pedals is an up-and-coming electric guitar pedal company based in Philadelphia. The branding features custom typography with contour lines woven into the letterforms, inspired by the electrical signals running through the pedals. The result is a bold, playful identity that reflects both the technical side of the gear and the creative energy of the brand.
Pterribldactyl
In addition to the logo, the client wanted illustrated graphics to appear on the pedals themselves. The concept was based on an idea titled “Pterribldactyl,” featuring a kaiju-like dinosaur battling a giant squid. The illustrations lean into a fun, playful style that matches the bold personality of the brand while giving each pedal a memorable visual identity.
